AGRICULTURAL FILM

agricultural film

Force-One provides films for the agricultural sector that as been proven a million times over. In this sector, individual requirements have been realised that ensure optimal utilisation of the harvest and higher yield.

Force-One agricultural films have been designed to attain the highest level of protection for silage. Some examples of use are in bunker silos or for baled silage. Using Force-One agricultural films here significantly and demonstrably reduces rotting.

Force-One provides customers with optimal formulas for select applications. The perpetual development of our products leads to continuously less complicated and more effective handling. At the same time, targeted improvement processes offer sustainable support of increased silage yield.

All-encompassing quality assurance and cutting-edge, redundant machinery guarantee excellent processing as well as agricultural film with a long life-span.

Responsibility for our environment: Force-One is one of the founding members of "ERDE" (EARTH) Recycling. After use, the films can be brought to collection points where they can find their way back into the resource cycle.

The use of plastic in the agricultural sector has contributed to greater efficiency and crop productivity.

The main agricultural films are: geomembrane film, silage film, mulch film and film for covering greenhouses.

Geomembrane

Geomembrane film is used to control humidity levels in crop fields, in particular, in areas with arid weather conditions. This film prevents evapotranspiration, allowing for a more efficient harvest. In order to ensure that no moisture is lost, the geomembrane film is very thick, which is why recycled polymers are usually used.

Silage

Silage film is used for packaging grain, seeds or fodder for subsequent fermentation.

The most important features of silage film are its excellent insulation properties (barrier characteristics against air and water) as well as its resistance to sunlight, therefore these films are outdoors, in fields for days on end.

Mulch Film

Mulch film is specially designed for those crops that are planted using saplings. The main objective of this film is to protect the crop from the proliferation of weeds, preventing the weeds’ growth from hindering the development of the plants. Furthermore, the film protects the crops and the soil from possible adverse weather conditions.

Greenhouse Covering

The greenhouse covering film is used to protect the harvest from wind and rain, as well as to control the internal temperatures, preventing appreciable temperature changes in the greenhouse during the day and at night.
